Sam Bagchi

El Dr. Sam Bagchi supervisa la prestación de atención al paciente basada en la evidencia, dando prioridad a la seguridad y la eficiencia en todas las comunidades a las que servimos. As the CHRISTUS Health System Executive Vice President & Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Sam Bagchi supervises the delivery of evidenced-based patient care, prioritizing safety and efficiency across the communities we serve. After earning his medical degree from Indiana University, he completed his internal medicine residency program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where he served as a Harvard teaching fellow. Dr. Bagchi was Chief Quality and Medical Officer for Presence Health System in Chicago, a large 12-hospital system.
Before that, he worked as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Methodist Health System in Dallas, Texas. During his tenure with Methodist Health System, Dr. Bagchi built a clinical informatics platform around quality patient safety initiatives, a unique skill set he has successfully applied to CHRISTUS Health. For over a decade, Dr. Bagchi has focused on combining clinical and quality strategies, drawing upon the best practices of the rapidly changing health information technologies. His dedication to the study of these types of integrations has yielded results that now serve as guides for other healthcare organizations in navigating the industry’s overall shift to value-based care.
